The Internet... Its not as useful as you think

I
love February as it is full of cake! There are so many
birthdays this month that I get to celebrate and of course mine is
one of them! Today I am finally two and I have a huge amount
to tell you!
January was a good month, I have moved up a room at Nursery and am
learning so much and meeting lots of new people. It's kind of
weird going from being one of the oldest in the room to the youngest
but all my new friends are just as lovely.
I have given up on wearing nappies now which Mummy and Daddy are thrilled about as it means they get to save money on them which they can spend on other things for me like nice toys and treats. I still wear one to bed - that's bed not cot as I have taken that step up too and sleep in a proper bed - but other than that its just pants all the way (no point in pull ups, I don't need them!)
Mummy and Fiona arranged a really nice party at the wacky warehouse for me and Katie, we got to play in the ball pool, go down slides, play pass-the-parcel and of course blow out candles on our shared birthday cake. It was extremely tiring for me as my friend Demi had a part on the same day but a little earlier - so naturally I went to that too.
Daddy took the day off work to spend with me on my actual birthday, and Nanna and Granddad came down to see me. In the morning we went to Rhythm Time, which is a musical class that I attend each week with Mummy. It was really funny to see Daddy try to do the clapping patterns we do - he got them wrong all the time, but then he's just a silly so it's ok really. We went to the pub for dinner and had a nice carvery before going back home to drop daddy off to cook my birthday cake you see in the picture above.
I shouldn't have to tell you, but some of you may not watch In The Night Garden, but the cake is of one of my favourite characters Upsy Daisy. It took him FIVE hours to make it all and I'm sure I overheard him on the phone saying he just made it all up as he went along. I'm sure it will taste just yummy but I haven't eaten it yet so who knows.
Mummy and Daddy have also sorted out my own room downstairs, it used to be Daddy's sort of "office" but then became Poppy's room and then just storage space. It's now had a nice lick of paint and some new curtainy sort of things and a thing on the roof that my Great Grandma and Granddad made for Mummy and Daddy. It's my own little house with a kitchen, a bedroom for my dollies and a dressing up table for me to play with.
I'm going to have to put my feet down this month, as Daddy STILL hasn't put any photos of me up in the gallery section, but then I might let him off as he hasn't done much on this website in the last month and he did make me a really nice cake! Check back often and you may be in luck
